A techie with a sociology degree Nick attended Nipissing University where he learned to give’r and get‘er done. One of the resident renaissance men working at Strategic Transitions, Nick is not limited to one particular area of expertise. He started with us at the beginning of 2008 as a technology coach working within the Toronto District School Board. During his time in that position he had the pleasure of working with hundreds of children with various learning disabilities. He had the opportunity to teach them as well as their parents and teachers on the use of various pieces of assistive technology. Some of the many hats that he now wears include providing tech support, customer service, learning support, website maintenance, sales, international relations, marketing, webinars and workshops. A proponent of universal design for learning he believes everyone should have a chance to learn no matter what their learning style is.
Having spent most of his childhood in Africa Nick enjoys a good dose of sunshine and lives for the summer. He has yet to fully adapt to Canadian Winters so a tropical satellite office for Strategic Transitions located on beachfront property is one of his utmost priorities. He has however grown an appreciation for ice hockey that includes a passionate hatred for everything related to the Toronto Maple Leafs. A devoted gastronome Nick thoroughly enjoys good food and only the finest imported European gummies. He hopes to one day defeat Bobby Flay in kitchen stadium. Also an avid music fan he is the office guru on all things hip-hop.
